| As the time drips
slowly down the clock, I find myself looking back, and
wondering about it... Where did it go? I don't know. It
slips away so quickly, and then vanishes before my eyes.
Yesterday is gone - but I realize that the essence of it
still remains, like a scent on the wind, or a name that
sits upon the very tip of the tongue, familiar, yet too
distant to recall. Among the ruins of the past I see a
flame of wisdom flickering it's lessons that have rooted
in my mind, and time, it seems, is just a means of
showing that we're growing into what tomorrow brings. So
let the past lie where it is - for this is now, our
chance to make tomorrow somehow brighter, somehow lighter
as we spread our wings and fly into the future on the
winds of hope, drifting gently into what may lie ahead. |
